You can help make this a great Pecos Conference by volunteering to do some of the many tasks that are necessary for a successful and organized conference. If you can help, please contact the conference organizer, Kim Spurr at kspurr@musnaz.org.


We ask you to sign up for 3-hour shifts, as many or as few as you want. If you work at least 2 shifts, you get a free t-shirt (white conference logo on a purple shirt to designate volunteers).

You will need to register for the conference. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer volunteers free registration, because fees are needed to pay for tents, toilets, trash, permits, etc., etc.


--August 9 (Thursday)

We need people to set up signs and flagging for the conference and parking areas.


--August 10 and 11 (Friday and Saturday)

Shifts are 8 to 10 a.m., 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. for

--Directing vehicles to appropriate parking and camping areas

--Passing out registration packets, registering those who did not preregister and answering questions.

--Checking the conditions of trash containers, water supplies and toilets for those who will maintain them (not volunteers)

--Checking that signs and flags are still in the right places


August 12 (Sunday)

Take down flagging and signs, and general clean-up.
